Blood! Blood! Blood!
Hello everyone! It's me Kristi, Tokyo Cowboy's all around assistant and this time co-producer and in charge of special effects. One challenge for our newest film Jikininki is that we needed blood. It's not a crazy gory movie but it does have a bit of blood. Since we couldn't get a live blood donor we just had to make it ourselves. (Hehe we never actually planed on using real blood, that's just gross!) Now anyone can look online and find a way to make fake blood but we needed something that wouldn't stain. Skin, clothes, props they all needed to be clean by the next take! So, something very easy to clean up fast. And most important something not poisonously or dangerous. We are putting this all over a poor actors face after all. I found a recipe online and tweaked it a bit to look as real as possible. Kristi's Super Fabulous Fake blood Red food dye cocoa powder powdered sugar water Super easy to make, clean, and eat! It was also very real looking. That is until you try to splatter it. What we didn't anticipate was how viscous it would be. Trying to splatter the blood turned out to be one of our biggest challenges while filming. After many takes and a few people flinging blood everywhere we finally got it. It's not everyday you are asked to make blood and splatter it all over the room! 食人鬼の撮影のために特集メイクを色々用意しました！ ホラー映画だからやっぱり血を使いたい時はありますね。使いすぎたらあまりよくないけど食人鬼は人間を食べる幽霊だからちょっとだけ血を使わないとな！と思いました。そして本物の血を使ったらきっと逮捕されるから自分で作ることにしました。 ネットで探したらレシピーは沢山あるけど、血は赤だから皆の衣装とかセットがちょっと心配になりました。そして目か口に入る可能性が高くて、毒が入ってるレシピーもＮＧにしました。 結局ネットでいいレシピーを見つけて、自分の考えで他のものを入れてみました。作るのが簡単で、映画を見たら本当にリアルだと思います。 レシピーをご紹介させていただきたいと思います。ｗ Kristi's Super Fabulous Fake Blood ココア 水 粉砂糖 食用色素-赤 撮影してるときはやっぱり大変でした。血が窓で現れるシーンがあるんだけど、実はあの部屋に数人が入っていて、皆が同時に血を投げてみました。なかなかタイミングが難しくて、後血が思ったよりトロリしてて、綺麗に写らなかったです。そして一回血を投げたら次のカットの前部屋とドアの周りを全部掃除しました。 毎日の現場じゃないから楽しかったですが、いつもはあの感じだったらあまり。。。ｗ 相変わらず、ＴＣＢの現場は面白かったです。 クリスティ Producer Tokyo Cowboys
